- (2024-04-17) Owen: I think some people are misunderstanding this plugin. The premium is not at all necessary, and you can do without it easily. The premium tab opens once an update, which is easily closed out. Some ads aren't blocked, but that can easily be fixed by opting out of the acceptable ads program. The owners of the app aren't getting greedy, they're just now wanting money for a product that, mind you, is completely free otherwise. Considering that these people need to get paid, yeah, I think it's fine. Also, feature request (not sure if they'll see this), AdBlock has a slider, and I wish ABP had one too. It'd be super helpful for blocking the entirety of an ad section.

- (2024-04-16) john: I signed in just to write a review. Great AdBlock service but made their product dysfunctional and not work unless you reinstall and pay them 5 USD$ a month. Just so you know thats a days wage in parts of the world. Seriously, with 10 million downloads you werent making enough money? Owner of the app probably got greedy and wanted a porsch or trying to save up for something. I'm leaving and so are 100's of thousands if not millions of people. We are the same people too cheap to buy YT red, what makes you think we'd rather pay you when we could pay YT the same sh**?

I got the ad every day, for each individual profile I opened in Edge, until I uninstalled the extension. Goodbye to an old friend.

I am also locked out from accessing the ABP Reporter site, for reasons unknown. I have paid recurring subscription but find this service was better when i used the free download. Now, it is a nightmare. BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH.

I see the image of the ad then moments later like a few seconds the video plays. a month ago, this would have been at 5 stars but now.... its just not working. edit: 3/16/24 does not even block those annoying ads and banners on YouTube at least it works on other websites, but I majorly use YouTube on my pc.

- (2024-02-26) CRAIG: As soon as I turn it on, Microsoft Edge disables it and I'm stuck watching their ads. :( Also, the Adblock icon showing the number of ads being blocked on a given page does not appear anywhere in my Win 10 Edge page. When I go to Edge's Extensions page, it says Adblock may have been corrupted. I clicked the repair option and between that and the recent Adblock update, it seems to be working again, and the Adblock icon with blocked items number can only be seen by clicking the Extensions icon.
- (2024-02-25) Raptor213: Every 24 hour or so it throws it's own adds about how it updated and also about how you should upgrade. I have 2 other adblockers installed on my system based on browser and I get nothing from them and they are current. Until Adblock plus stops doing what it is supposed to prevent I will remove it from all my computers.
